Professionally

I am a Systems Designer specializing in Progression and Economy design. My passion is in developing complex, yet intuitive, systems that engross players in an experience.

My design philosophy revolves around simplicity and elegance; even the most complicated of systems can be broken down into manageable parts. Once you understand each piece and its function in the whole, you may confidently manipulate, remove, or add functionality.

My goal is to always be creating experiences that impact people as much as games have impacted me.

Personally

Outside of work, I still live and breathe games and their systems. I am currently running several TTRPG campaigns, including Dungeons & Dragons and The Wildsea. I am also a staffer on a forum-based RPG game, where I have developed and balanced new progression systems.

Even in games I don’t have a hand in shaping, I relish any opportunity to create a spreadsheet to manage my resources, goals, and time!
